Panda School is an interactive collection of educational resources for children and a virtual sandbox in which your child can learn and have fun in complete safety. This project is created for children and their parents and consists of «Panda School» web-service and «Panda School Browser» Windows application.

«Panda School» web service is free of charge. Here any parent can easily find educational resources for their child as well as make their own contribution to the main collection and vote up or review their favorites for everybody to see. Panda School features handy rating and tagging systems, which makes resources easy and fast to find.

There are three main sections: «Websites» and «Videos», which contain collection of illustrated links to related resources maintained by the Panda School community, and «Classroom», in which you can store and sort whatever resources you like from other sections.

«Panda School» web-service is currently in beta-testing stage. You can try it in action on this very website.

Each illustrated link is presented as a card featuring a short description of the resource, tags related to it and the recommended age group. In addition you can check a resource’s rating among Panda School users, vote for it or add it to your «Classroom» instantly.

The Windows application «Panda School Browser» supplements the web-service and has two main advantages: autonomy and safety. With «Panda School Browser» you can manage your collection freely and include in it as many resources as you want in any order. Your collection will be available and maintainable via either the Windows application or the web-service.

Regardless of where you are in the world, when you open Panda School, your collection will be saved in the «Classroom».

Our main priority was To create safe educational and entertainment centre for children. We want parents to be able to leave their children alone at a computer without any worries or hesitation. To achieve this Panda School Browser blocks any activity not related to the application itself on the Operating System level. This means your child is not able to delete any documents stored on the computer or change any of the computer settings. Your child can use only resources you have selected yourself in the Classroom, or the Panda School resources collection, which is strictly moderated by our staff.  In addition Panda School has a handy «Kids mode» which simplifies the interface and prevents children from any unwanted clicks. It also allows parents to limit their child’s activity to the Classroom only.

This application will be available as a try-and-buy downloadable software package, and now it has also reached beta-testing stage, you can download and try it in action on Panda School Browser sub-page. Estimated delivery date for “Panda School Browser” - February 2015.
